Dear Colleague

You’re invited to visit SYDNEY for the XXth International Congress on Personal Construct Psychology. The theme of our congress is Change: personal, social and organisational.

This conference is not just aimed at those working from a personal construct framework or indeed psychologists. We anticipate and welcome participation by constructivists, constructionists, those working from a narrative approach, those using (or indeed critiquing) the theory from a variety of disciplines, as well as applying related methodologies such as repertory grids, laddering or narrative exploration.

Like the look of this? This is the view adjacent to the conference venue – the Vibe Hotel in Milson’s Point, North Sydney.

This exciting meeting of the minds will be held from 18th to 20th July, 2013 in Sydney, Australia. In addition, there will be workshops held before (17th July) AND after (21st July) the event.

At the moment, there are minimal details on the conference available at: http://www.pcp-net.de/info/news.html. This site will be updated as further information comes to hand.

As mentioned, our venue is the Vibe Hotel on the northern side of the harbour, adjacent to the approach to the Harbour Bridge (http://www.vibehotels.com.au/hotels/new-south-wales/sydney/north/vibe-north-sydney). This hotel was chosen because it’s central to things you might like to do in Sydney. For example, it’s an easy 15 minute walk across the Bridge to the Rocks, Circular Quay and Opera House. Or you can catch a train at Milson’s Point station, opposite the hotel, across the harbour into the city. Ferries go to Circular Quay, the zoo or Darling Harbour. Accommodation is available at the hotel, but be quick! You don’t want to miss out. When you stay at the Vibe Hotel, you will have free access to the gym and Olympic pool located right near the iconic amusement centre, Luna Park.

We would love to see you in Oz next year. Please keep your eyes peeled for further updates, and spread the word to your friends and associates with interests in the broad range of constructivist theories and methodologies! We KNOW it’s a long way for many of you to come, but we’re certain you won’t be disappointed when you get here!

Hope to see you next year.
